In this video we look at the life of William James McMurray a lifelong member of FELC who as a young man worked for John Shawber in his grocery store. The script for this video is the obituary for McMurray written by Rue Melching a lifelong member and editor of the Wapakoneta Daily News. Rue Melching and William McMurray were both newspaper men at different points in their lives, McMurray published the Auglaize County Republican, Melching was editor of the Wapakoneta Daily News and treasurer of FELC for 25 years.
