On Saturday June 11, 2022 55 members and friends of First English Lutheran, St. Marks Lutheran and Trinity Lutheran gathered for the 14th year to package 14,902 rice packets through the Kids Against Hunger Coalition from Michigan. Approximately 30% of the meals are given to local food banks. Over the last 14 years $59,698.01 was raised to package 220,268 meals by a total of 1,132 volunteers of all ages. This was the last year for this project, please be sure to thank Connie Krites for her hard work in organizing and bringing this very impactful ministry to FELC and church community.
