Many volunteers joined forces and spent many hours to provide an afternoon of entertainment in the form of the murder mystery “Hawaiian Heist”. Proceeds from this event help fund FELC youth to attend the 2018 youth gathering in Houston, Texas.
From October newsletter:
On behalf of the entire Fellowship committee, we would like to thank our congregation for coming out to support our Hawaiian Dinner Theater. The entire cast, directed by Niki Oren, Lisa Kirby and Deanna Ronan, deserves huge thanks for the many hours of practice they put in. A really awesome job everyone! Also a big thanks to everyone on the committee, preparing the meal and decorating, to bring a little Hawaii to the Fellowship Hall. Thank you Dave Curry and Brandon Bush for your the excellent sound system expertise. The Hula dancers coached by Tasha McPeek gets big kudos and they certainly did a great job. We also want to thank Becky Dicus for all of her hard work that she did with this event. This play could never have been put on without a great team effort and it was a great way to kick off the Houston trip fundraisers. Once again, a big thanks to everyone !
