On November 15 pre-K through 5 grade children at FELC made Advent calendars. They made 24 envelops numbered and personalized with their own artwork, then kids placed a Bible verse and a piece of candy in each envelope. Kids will open one envelope each day until Christmas, reading the Bible verse and (presumably) eating the piece of candy. The kids also made Advent calendars for our shut-ins.
